Come learn all about how we make artisan chocolate from precious heirloom Nacional cacao beans grown by our friends Ecuador! Come see where worlds collide to create entirely unique chocolate experiences.
Our Mindo Chocolate-Making Tours include a presentation and walk-through of our cozy chocolate factory in Dexter, MI. We'll introduce you to every step of the chocolate-making process so you'll understand how small-batch craft chocolate is made, from bean to bar. We'll show you the history of Mindo Chocolate Makers, from our roots in Mindo, Ecuador, to our finest work in the taste of our beautifully complex bars today. For 25 people of all ages.
1 Ticket Per Person Per Tour Required. Tours will begin at 4 PM each Friday and last for about 45 minutes to an hour. Plenty of samples to taste are included as we explore our little factory with you, and much more chocolate will be available to purchase at the end.
* COVID-19 UPDATE: In accordance with new CDC guidance, we’re requiring all guests to have been vaccinated before joining and wear a mask in your time with us. (We always wear masks in the chocolate kitchen, anyway, to protect the chocolate and our customers!) As CDC advice evolves, so too will our policies, so a tour can always be attended at a later date for unvaccinated folks.
While we have weekly tours at 4 PM on Friday, we can also work with you to schedule a personal tour for your group! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll help make something work for you! (Once you've spoken with Barbara to schedule a tour outside of the listed times, we will add your time to the website for you to reserve your spots.)
