@ 10:30 AM - 12 PM
at our cozy chocolate factory in Dexter, MI
In this workshop and coffee chat with Barbara, founder of Mindo Chocolate Makers AND the El Quetzal de Mindo Café in Ecuador, we will walk you through the process of making coffee and drinking chocolate from tree to cup. Together we’ll roast coffee, drink coffee, brew cacao tea, and enjoy drinking chocolate (all ethically sourced and produced in-house) while we chat all about the different ways of enjoying and preparing coffee and chocolate as beverages that can offer such huge boosts to our lives.
A casual coffee chat fused with an educational coffee-roasting workshop, there's lots to enjoy at this event -- whether you're a casual coffee and chocolate lover, or looking to start sourcing and roasting your own beans!
We'll be roasting the Perla Negra Single-Estate Ecuadorian Coffee from an award-winning family farm we know well and love -- the same coffee we serve at the El Quetzal de Mindo Café in Ecuador! Join us and let's talk coffee (and chocolate)!
1 Ticket Per Person Per Workshop Required. The event will begin at 10:30 AM and last until around 12 PM. Plenty of samples to taste are included as we roast coffee and chat, and much more chocolate (and some coffee) will be available to purchase at the end.
* COVID-19 UPDATE: In accordance with new CDC guidance, we’re requiring all guests to have been vaccinated before joining and wear a mask in your time with us. (We always wear masks in the chocolate kitchen, anyway, to protect the chocolate and our customers!) As CDC advice evolves, so too will our policies, so a tour can always be attended at a later date for unvaccinated folks.
