In this hands-on class/workshop, we'll show you how the most coveted cocoa beans in the world (our heirloom Ecuadorian Nacional cacao) are made into beautiful, immensely complex, and absolutely delicious artisan dark chocolate bars. Then you'll get to try your hand at making a beautiful bar by filling your own chocolate mold with the personalized chocolate creation of your dreams. Join us in the Mindo chocolate kitchen and together we'll all make our own completely unique chocolate bars from our bean-to-bar artisan chocolate. The perfect activity for a group of friends, co-workers, or any others who want to get creative in the kitchen together!
Ticket includes a one-time class/workshop in truffle-making and take-home truffles of your own creation — with more available to be made and purchased at the event.
Our weekly courses alternate each Friday - Make Your Own Truffles andMake a Beautiful Chocolate Bar. These are unique workshops, so feel free to sign up for just one date or repeat a class for fun and come back to explore another theme.

Up to 16 people of all ages each session. Suggested age is 10+. Parents and guardians bringing small children are required to leave the presentation area momentarily if their child is unable to remain calm so other guests' experience is not disrupted.
COVID-19 UPDATE (1.23.24): We follow currentCDC and Washtenaw Health Dept recommendations which evolve over time. Masks and vaccinations are currently optional in our facilities.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes and tours are held in our cozy kitchen at 11061 Trinkle Rd Dexter, MI. An email with helpful info and directions will be sent the week of your event. Cancellations require a 72+ hour notice to receive a full refund. Cancellations within the 24-72 hour window prior to the class will be allowed a reschedule for a different date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior are non-refundable. When in doubt, call the shop at 734.660.5636 to speak with a team member.
